Day 70 Edinburgh to Berwick-upon-Tweed

Crossing the border back into England. Only 1094 miles to go and according to everyone I speak to 'it's all down hill from here'.

Back in England tonight having cycled 1985 miles and spent 39 days going around the coastline of Scotland - crossed the border just 3 miles short of my overnight stay here in Berwick-upon-Tyne.

The ride itself was pretty uneventful with not that much to take in scenery wise. The first 50 miles were virtually all on flat roads - it became hillier in the last 20 but with only one long gradual climb to mention, what little wind there was, was in my favour all day.
I had a phone conversation with Emma Fielder at Alzheimer's Society HQ in London with regards to organising publicity/media event upon my arrival in Newcastle in a couple of days time - decided upon the Grey's monument right in the city centre as the best location.
