Day 36 Glenluce to Stranraer (the long way)

Thursday 29th of July. 63 hours and 56 minutes.

Weather: Dry and overcast, brighter later

Accommodation: Neptune's Rest Guest House.

Cycled round Stranaer Penninsula (Rhinns of Galloway). Remote, undulating and very exposed to the wind for most of the day. By midday my legs felt fatigued but fresher after lunch, taken on the harbour front at Portpatrick (nice place). On arrival at Stranraer I discovered that a "mystery male" had rung and cancelled my pre-booked hotel room. Luckily I quickly got a room at the friendly, and dare I say it, less expensive guest house next door.
